Using a Trained Search Dog

Through the use of a dog trained in search techniques to find lost animals, the chances are increased in finding animals.
I am a certified missing animal response technician (MAR tech) certified through Missing Pet Partnership after having taken a multi-dayseminar in June 2007. My dog, Dino, is a scent specific trained tracking dog. This means he can follow the scent of a specific animal. He has trained specifically in urban and suburban environments, so following an animal anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area is what he is comfortable with. In addition, Dino has had a few cases where he was challenged to follow the scent of the pet he is tracking even through large cow and goat herds. At first he was hesitant, but he figured a way through his feelings to follow the track on the other side.

This is my promise and guarantee to everybody about my tracking services.

Using Intuition
I have been trained by and taken many classes andseminars by Marta Williams, one of the top animal communicators in the field. As a trained pet detective I have found myself using intuition in my physical search for lost pets. I would be willing to have a separate intuitive session to attempt to find your pet if your pet is not found in a physical search, or if a physical search is not possible due to length of time or distance.

Using Flyers and Posters
As soon as you know your pet is missing, you need to start immediately to look for them. Time is critical. Start by notifying your local shelters. The start putting up large, bright posters and fliers around your neighborhood. You can go directly to your neighbor's doors to hand them the fliers. More information about designing an effective lost pet flyer.
For more information on using/creating fliers please visit the Missing Pet Partnership website.
We offer a professional flyer and poster design service to make high quality and high impact posters and fliers to help get the attention of people to get your pet safely back home.
Using Traps
Dr. Lisa Pierson has a great video available on how to build a drop trap for cats. Written instructions on building a drop trap and a remote drop trap are available on her website.
