My Promise and Guarantee
I will use all my experience, knowledge, skills and talents to help find the missing pet to the fullest extend of my abilities.
My search dogs are friendly, non aggressive and fully trained to follow a scent from an article from the pet agreed upon to use prior to the search
I can guarantee that, if we do not find the pet while on the search, and if provided with a proper scent article belonging to the pet and given the proper location of the pet’s last known location, my dog can find and follow the pet’s track. Then I can give my top three highest probabilities of what has happened to the animal and how to find them with proper tools and techniques following the search.
Many circumstances are beyond my control to help me always find the pet. Here are a few examples:
- The pet being picked up along the track by a passer-by;
- Being called several days after the pet’s disappearance.
- A search being stopped by the client prior to finding the pet;
- Running out of sufficient daylight to safely continue a search.
Due to these situations and others, I am unable to guarantee that I will always find the missing pet during the search timeframe.
I am available to continue a search at the next earliest possible time if additional search time is desired by the client. I have no maximum amount of time I will spend to find a lost pet. The three hour minimum for each additional scheduled search time would apply.
I do not charge for initial consultations either by phone or by email. I also do not charge for follow up email and phone calls following a search.
Time starts when I arrive at the last known location and it stops when we return back.
What you can do to help
Pay the minimum three hour charge of $195 no matter the outcome of the search performed by The Social Pet (“pet detective” from here out), once they arrive on the scene. No charge will apply to cancel the appointment if the pet detective has not left home.
Pay $65 per hour or $32 per half hour for each hour or half hour following the initial three hour minimum. Each increment less than one half hour will be rounded up to the nearest half hour. Each increment after 30 minutes will be rounded up to the next hour.
Pay 85 cents per mile round trip from San Leandro to the last known location of the lost pet.
Pay the full amount due after the completion of the search.
Wear the company issued safety vest as a form of safety and visibility while on the track
Give permission to have my case written up in the pet detective’s public blog with the use of my pet’s name, city and breed.
